Our Blue Ice fermented cod liver oil and X-Factor Gold high vitamin butter oil were inspired by the work of Weston Price, and more recently by Sally Fallon and Mary Enig, PhD. Ok, we admit it, our fermented cod liver oil doesn't taste like your favorite flavored and highly processed gummy bears. But the flavored varieties of the Green Pasture's fermented cod liver oil make it a bit easier to go down the hatch for the faint of heart. And if downing the liquid is a bit much for you and the kids, we have capsules as well. These fish liver oils (cod & skate) will naturally provide some critical vitamins (A and D in particular), essential fatty acids (EPA & DHA), quinones, as well as other yet to be identified health building nutrients.
